Did you know Stacy is the subject a song? And a wonderful song it is, too! "Stacy, My Daddy's Home Town" is the lead song on the 1998 CD by folksinger/songwriter Connie Mason. Connie will be playing at the Down East Mardi Gras so come and ask her about the song. Connie is also Collections Manager for the North Carolina Maritime Museum.

Ranging far and wide, the intrepid 4th and 5th grade students from Atlantic Elementary School have been researching Stacy, with pages on their site about history, Pittman's Grocery and the local churches, with also contains some general history of the town.
